The Ryerson Diversity Institute is excited to be partnering with FedDev Ontario Small Business Services in hosting an entrepreneur-facing event on March 7, 2019 in downtown Toronto, "Business, Government Services & You". This free event is intended for diverse entrepreneurs --especially women, and will be a dynamic and engaging opportunity for learning and networking.

On showcase at the event will be various resources available through government and elsewhere to help women start or grow a business. There will also be interactive discussions and sessions led by a range of guest speakers including the Diversity Institute's own Dr. Wendy Cukier, a professor of Entrepreneurship and Strategy at Ted Rogers School of Management. The Diversity Institute is leading, in collaboration with Ryerson’s Brookfield Institute for Innovation + Entrepreneurship and the Ted Rogers School of Management, the newly-announced Women's Entrepreneurship Knowledge Hub, which is funded by the Government of Canada and will create a diverse, nation-wide and committed network of key ecosystem stakeholders to create a more inclusive and supportive environment and grow women’s entrepreneurship in Canada
