About IRSN

 

The Immigrant Researchers Support Network (IRSN) was initiated by Access Alliance to promote career success of internationally educated researchers (epidemiologists, statisticians, clinician scientists, qualitative researchers, evaluation experts, etc.) in Canada by providing a networking and peer support platform and offering professional development opportunities.

 

This IRSN meeting on January 15, 2020 will feature a keynote speaker, Fahad Razak, Research Scientist,Li Ka Shing Knowledge Institute. Fahad’s presentation will focus on “Using Big Data to study Health Care Delivery’’. The meeting will also include a Resume Writing Workshop by Connel Valentine, Career Coach, Zero2Hired. The event will conclude with a professional development workshop on Knowledge Translation  by Amani Massoud, Immigrant Insight Scholar, Institute for Work and Health
