My Success Story

Being successful is the desire of all of us after migrating to this lovely
country. It does not matter whether the concerned person is a child,
youth or the old aged, at each and every stage of our wide life span, it is
our inbuilt desire to be successful and proceed forward consistently
towards more massive success.
I have landed in Toronto in September 2019 with a big dream for a
better life with my family as a permanent resident. I am an internationally
trained public health professional. After coming here
it took some time to settle here, renting a home, opening a bank account,
sending my kids to school, roaming around to know my new home, a new
country. I was overwhelmed with everything. It was a mixed feeling.
Then gradually I started to focus on my career, then I came to know
Immigrant researcher support network by one of my mentor. This
organization helps internationally educated researchers to build local
experience, track records, and building professional networks which are needed to
transition to a successful career as a researcher in Canada. I personally
realized that this platform gave me a lot of confidence, the required skills to
meet the demand in the job field. Here I got the chance to meet a diverse
group of people and this is a great place for networking, Canada is a
multicultural county. At IRSN I got the flavor of this. How to stand out
from thousands of applicants is what I learned from IRSN. Now I am
working as a Mental Health Counsellor at Immigrant Healthcare Support
Network in a Mental Health project on immigrants and refugees migrating
to Canada.
I wish this platform to grow more and make the easy transition of career who
migrate to Canada. I thank all the members of IRSN for all your guidance and support.

Not sure if this is appropriate to post here, so admins please feel free to delete this if not.As I explore and try to make sense of the terms, I came across this article on linkedin that attempts to explain them, and thought someone might find them useful.
