I am a postgraduate in communications with more than five years of research experience with various nonprofits across India. Being passionate towards social policy research, I have played significant roles in research initiatives on poverty reduction, right to information women empowerment and transnational migration. In Canada, I am currently engaged in a research project which explores the scope of women collectives in empowering marginalized women in India. As an active proponent of diversity, equity and inclusion, I also serve as a member of Diversity Action Group, a collective which aims to recognize, embrace and celebrate diversity in Simcoe County.
