Dr. MehvishSiddiqui is a Research volunteer at the Centre for Urban Health Solution’s Gambling and Poverty Knowledge Hub for Dr. Flora Matheson. She is involved in the Justice and Equity Research Program. Through dedication in the healthcare field, she envisages to contribute to research in the Canadian Health Care System. She is completing her bridging program at Ryerson University for internationally trained doctors.
She is an internationally trained dentist having a Masters degree in Oral Pathology. She carried out research on the tumour tissue interface of oral squamous cell carcinoma with the expression of PCNA, Ki67, Vimentin and Desmin. As a first author, her research includes publication of two papers titled i) Life quality Assessment of Patients Suffering from Oral Cancer and ii) Magnitude of Breast Diseases in Ojha Histopathology Department, Dow University of Health Sciences, Karachi.
For many years she has been engaged in the healthcare field, served in a teaching dental college as a Clinical Instructor in the Prosthodontic and Oral Surgery departments and practiced clinical dentistry in various dental offices.
