With increasing global drive towards accountable patient centered health care delivery, there is need for urgent re-positioning of health systems so that it can deliver quality service that effectively meets consumer needs at an affordable cost. Oluwadahunsi Olukoya is a public health physician and a global health expert with a passion for health systems strengthening. ‘Dahunsi is a trained Community health expert with a postgraduate Masters in Global Health (Ibadan) and certifications in Implementation science. He has years of professional experience working in academic environments in both clinical and managerial collaborative capacities, with expertise in research designs, protocol and implementation and he is acknowledged for excellent data management. Previously, he has worked on several municipal and national health programmes in his home country involving patients, stakeholder management and stewardship, community resource advocacy and mobilization as well as collaborative involvement in provincial strategic health development plans.
