Health Connections Bridging Program

ACCES Employment is actively recruiting for our Healthcare Connections program. Healthcare Connections supports internationally educated healthcare professionals in securing non-licensed alternative employment in the broader healthcare sector.

 

Funded by Immigration, Refugees, and Citizenship Canada and Ministry of Labour, Training and Skills Development, the Healthcare Connections program includes sector-specific learning modules and assistance in securing employment along with networking opportunities.

 

This program offers two streams to better serve client needs, Health Systems which will be starting on April 29, 2024, and Community Health which will start on May 21, 2024. We are actively looking for your help to refer potential clients.

Upcomingcohort sessionswill be offered online tentatively from: 

 

  • Health Systems Cohort #1: April 29, 2024 to June 7, 2024
  • Community Health Cohort #1: May 21, 2024 to June 28, 2024

 

Please note the program eligibility below:

 

Program Eligibility

 

  • Permanent Resident, Convention Refugee, Refugee Claimant with a 1-year Canadian work permit, Naturalized Canadian Citizen, or CUAET Visa Holder 
  • At least 1 year of experience in a licensed healthcare profession or experience working in non-regulated healthcare outside of Canada 
  • Completion of post-secondary education outside of Canada 
  • CLB 7+ or IELTS 6.0+ in English Preferred
  • No or limited relevant Canadian Work Experience 
  • Must reside in Ontario

 

Cost

  • Health Systems stream: Free
  • Community Health stream: The program fee is $500 + HST. Participants can apply for reimbursement based on financial need.
