Position Description:

Reporting directly to the Manager, Clinical Research, CAMH is seeking one (1) full-time, contract (12-month) Research Analyst to provide support to a variety of clinical research activities across the divisions of the institution.  Working across multiple studies and departments at CAMH, this position will involve a strong knowledge around data collection, analysis and management, and qualitative research methodology. The position will require an experienced health-related research background and the ideal candidate will be capable of conducting daily tasks with minimal supervision. Primary responsibilities include conducting literature searches, collecting and analyzing data, supporting the preparation of draft presentations and manuscripts, creating and maintaining databases, Research Ethics Board submissions, and other administrative tasks related to clinical research studies. Qualifications:

The successful candidate must have a degree in Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology, Neuroscience, or a related field combined with one (1) year of relevant research experience.

  • Previous experience in scientific literature review is an asset
  • Previous experience with study design, data management, and data analysis
  • Previous experience with Research Ethics Board submissions is preferred
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Acrobat, and database software packages is required
  • The ideal candidate must demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication (oral/written) skills, along with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members.
  • The candidate will be detail-oriented, possess analytical thinking skills, and be able to exercise initiative and good judgment.
  • The ideal candidate will have the ability to multitask and produce high-quality, accurate work while meeting program deadlines.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills along with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and liaise with study investigators
  • Ability to work effectively in a variety of settings with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
  • Bilingualism (French/English) and/or proficiency in a second language would be an asset.

Please Note: This full-time, 12-month contract position is part of the OPSEU bargaining unit.

Salary Range: $26.68 - $35.58 per hour
