Sunnybrook Research Institute (fully affiliated with the University of Toronto) has an opening for a temporary full-time, Post-doctoral Fellowship in the laboratory of Dr. Hon Leong. This position is available for 1 year contract with possibility for renewal.
Skills and Qualifications:
- PhD in an area of biomedical research (graduated within 3 years)
- Extensive experience in cell culture activities (≥5 years)
- Extensive experience with bioreactors (≥5 years)
- Stem cell biology experience preferred
- CHO cell line experience preferred
- Hybridoma cell line experience preferred
- Antibody purification experience preferred
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
- Proven experience in using GraphPad Prism, Excel, R, Stata
- Proven experience in preparing grants and scientific publications
