IRSN Fifth Meeting

This IRSN meeting on April 1, 2019 featured a keynote speaker, Mr. Shawn McCarty, Manager, Key Partnerships at Windmill Microlending. Shawn’s presentation focused on ‘Addressing Financial Barriers to Skilled Immigrant Credentialing: Microlending in Practise.’ The meeting also included a presentation on the findings of a research study by Access Alliance on the Labour Market Barriers facing internationally educated researchers. The last part of the meeting included a professional development workshop on ‘Effective Communication in the Canadian Workplace’ by Ms. Ann Simon, Lecturer at Ryerson University.
