IRSN Second Meeting - Presentations and Videos

The second Immigrant Researchers Support Network (IRSN) meeting held on March 22, 2018 in Toronto. Around 15 participants attended, along with presenters and program staff.

The meeting focused on how to effectively use social media tools e.g. LinkedIn for professional networking and career building process. The meeting featured panel presentations from three communication experts:


Boyd Neil

Senior Digital Strategist, Social Media Educator, Speaker, Social Reach Consulting,

University of Toronto – Rotman School of Management;


Coralie D’Souza

Director of Communications, Events+ Community Relations,

Brookfield Institute;


Christopher Trotman

Communications Consultant,

Access Alliance


Dr. Yogendra Shakya, Senior Research Scientist and Rakesh Thakur, Immigrant Insight Scholar from Access Alliance presented the IRSN workplan. This followed by a preview of the IRSN web portal by Marco Campana.
