The Occupational and Skills Information System (OaSIS) is a tool developed by Employment and Social Development Canada (ESDC) to help Canadians explore different careers, make job-related decisions such as career transitions, and conduct labour market information research. It provides detailed information about the skills, abilities, and other competencies needed for a wide range of occupations. OaSIS was created to fill a gap in occupational and competency information in Canada, while also ensuring consistency in how occupational data is produced and shared.
