About IRSN
The Immigrant Researchers Support Network (IRSN) was initiated by Access Alliance to promote career success of internationally educated researchers (epidemiologists, statisticians, clinician scientists, qualitative researchers, evaluation experts, etc.) in Canada by providing a networking and peer support platform and offering professional development opportunities.
This IRSN meeting on October 17, 2019 features keynote speakers, Nadia Caidi, Associate Professor, Director of International Student Experience, University of Toronto and Saadia Muzaffar, Founder, Tech girls, Canada. Their presentation will focus on ‘Pan-Canadian Research on Employment Barriers and Opportunities for Immigrant Women.’ The meeting will also include a presentation on Health Informatics Bridging Program of Skills for Change. The event will conclude with a professional development workshop on ``Proposal Writing’’ by Nasiha Musarrat, Development officer, Food Banks Canada.
