By now you’ve heard the news: the Doug Ford government introduced legislation that would take back so much of what we’ve won together. If passed, the legislation will freeze the minimum wage at $14 for the next two years; eliminate two paid sick days for all workers; cancel fair scheduling rules; and end equal pay for equal work.
Now’s the time to join the many people across the province sending a clear message to the government: we will not accept this betrayal. Today, our diverse communities that make up the 66% of Ontarians who support decent work and fair wages, are coming together for an important demonstration.
